29 Jul Ciurtin & Associates opens the way for big business coming from Malta
Ciurtin & Associates (C&A) went to Malta where, together with the local Ecovis office, a leading international consultancy group, developed a working platform to create an ever closer bond between them under the auspices of economy and vision. Moreover, C & A and Ecovis Romania are close partners since 2006 and their combined resources consolidated over years of successful common work. With this occasion, C & A participated on 4th of April to the swearing-in ceremony of the ninth president of Malta, Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, the country’s youngest-ever head of state.
C & A considers Malta to be a good place for making business, with a favorable tax environment and embedded in a culture of entrepreneurship. “Malta can play a leading role in bringing together EU and non-EU market operators, money and know-how. This Mediterranean island-nation is used to balance between jurisdictions, thus gaining in strength with big upside and little downside. The Maltese legal system is unique in the world, combining the common law in business with the Napoleonic civil law”, says Adrian Ciurtin, Managing Partner of C & A.
The platform created with Ecovis Malta during the last visit is created as a way to bring new business and to find investment for clients and projects that have European and Asian relevance. The experience in business, tax and corporate compliance, combined with a strong experience from the parties in their individual jurisdictions, provide holistic support to local and international clients.
