Ciurtin&Associates attended the “The Future of Romanian agriculture – from Community to financial instruments . Focus on necessary investments” conference organized by The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIpR). Sandra Tănase, Energy Legal Counsel & Business Development Manager was present at the conference on behalf of Ciurtin&Associates. The event took place on December 4, 2013 at Le Diplomate Hall of Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest.
Preceded by a conference in Padova, Italy in on October 9, the event aimed to attract foreign investment in agriculture.
Among the speakers were the Dante Stein, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Romania , HE Diego Brasioli, Italian Ambassador in Bucharest , President of CCIpR , Roberto Scagnoli , Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Daniel Constantin and lleana Bratu, Director of the Rural Credit Guarantee Fund (RCGF).
Among the topics discussed were several activities in the area of interest and practice offered by Ciurtin&Associates: the legal status of the land – public and private measures on estate management and transfer of ownership, legal instruments and the necessary legislation for the development of irrigation systems, flood areas – the legal regime, compensation that may be awarded in the event of flooding, land transfer during undergoing subsidy campaigns, the new law on restitutions – theoretical and practical implications, the order regarding traditional products registering, tax practice for agribusiness, needed factors for the development of lending in agriculture and the development of banking and leasing products for agriculture and credit guarantees.
