29 Jul Ciurtin&Associates attends the most successful forum of the wind industry in Romania – The Romanian Wind Energy Forum 2013
Romanian wind energy market has proved a rapid growth towards reaching European targets; by the first quarter of 2013, there were 2,095MW installed in wind energy. RWEA initiated in 2011 the organization of the first forum in Romania devoted exclusively to the wind industry with the support of EWEA.
In an attempt to establish a creative dialogue between the business environment and state officials, the event brought together the most relevant actors to debate the current and future integration of wind energy in a two-day conference.
The first edition of the RWEF proved to be a success: more than 200 professionals from across Europe attended and the quality of the forum was highly appreciated. Encouraged by the results of the first event and by the general development of wind industry in Romania, RWEA team worked to improve the format of RWEF 2013 by introducing a two days of conference and a series of side events allowing an extensive networking meant to reinforce the connections between the industry professionals (riding, zip line, ATVs, aqua gym, football game both open for all participants free of charge on pre-registration basis).
The topic at the panel was focused on the amendments to the renewable energy legislation and an investor-friendly approach from the state authorities.
The event was organized in Poiana Brasov on 12-14 June 2013 and was the third edition of the most successful forum of the wind industry in Romania.
