Ciurtin&Associates became a member of the Black Sea Gateway Association on January 31, 2014. Romania Black Sea Gateway Association is a non-profit business association that was created in early 2012 in order to promote Romania as an ideal destination for companies to locate their final production (customization) and assembling activities, serving the whole Central and Eastern Europe region and the countries in the Black Sea area.
The Association also aims at speeding up the Port of Constanta as the main Eastern gateway of the EU and Black Sea region for goods coming from and going to Asia and the Middle East.
It is open to all Romanian and foreign companies operating in Romania and involved in regular foreign trade activities, or that are transport and logistics operators. RBSGA caters to dynamic organizations, from SMEs to large corporate conglomerates and counts among its ranks many of the most important players in the logistics, manufacturing and service business community. RBSGA is in constant dialogue with other business associations and public-private structures, such as the Export Council, with the declared goal of pushing forward an agenda for investments and reform in the field of trade and transport.
The association believes that the development of both physical infrastructure and a more attractive investment climate will be beneficial for each and every fundamental area of business, making a huge difference for SMEs, for home-grown companies and local capital, but also for the largest international corporations.
